Eating & Feeding Disorders
Whether you're stepping down from a treatment program and in need of an outpatient team, exploring eating disorder treatment for the first time, or anywhere in between-- Greenhouse Psychotherapy is here to help! No matter where you're at in your recovery journey, we've got you covered.
We offer eating disorder assessment, treatment, and consultation services to help guide clients through the process of understanding their symptoms, determining whether treatment is necessary, and connecting with the appropriate resources accordingly.
Eating Disorder Assessments
Many clients aren't sure where to turn following an eating disorder diagnosis and/or identification of disordered eating patterns. That's why we developed specialized services designed to guide clients through the process of understanding their symptoms, determining whether treatment is necessary, and connecting with the appropriate resources.
We recognize how vulernable a new mental health diagnosis can feel, which is why we provide extensive education and guidance throughout the assessment process and beyond-- to ensure clients feel supported every step of the way.
Treatment Consultation Services
We know the prospect of eating disorder treatment can be intimidating. Our goal is to demystify the process and assist clients and their families in identifying the best possible care.
After conducting a thorough assessment, we will provide a diagnosis if applicable, treatment recommendations, and a tailored referral list for trusted providers.
We don't believe in the one size fits all model of treatment. That's why we take factors such as gender, age, and co-occurring mental health conditions into consideration when making treatment recommendations.
Multidisciplinary Care
For those who choose to pursue treatment at our practice, we provide evidenced-based, multidisciplinary care for eating and/or feeding challenges. In addition to therapy and nutrition counseling, we also offer speech language pathology for those struggling with GERD, ARFID, and other swallowing difficulties.
We pride ourselves on being great collaborators, and will work closely with any established healthcare providers such as your primary care physician or psychiatrist.
